Adolph Koldofsky--London-born violinist, who spent many years (1912-1946) in Canada (Toronto and Vancouver) where he was a leading performer and musicologist. In 1946 he moved to Los Angeles, where he was instrumntal in reviving the International Society for Contemporary Music Los Angeles Chapter. At the ISCM-sponsored 75th-birthday concert for Schoenberg (1949), Koldofsky premiered Schoenberg's Op. 47 (which was dedicated to him) and also performed Opp. 41 & 45.
