The Serenade concerts are funded by the State of Lower Austria. Beginning with Alexander Zemlinsky’s Walzer-Gesänge and Mahler’s famous Rückert-Lieder, an arc extends to the early songs of Arnold Schönberg and Alban Berg. As a complement to this musical program, Ulrich Reinthaller, known from numerous film and television roles, will read passages from letters e. g. by Karl Kraus, Alban Berg, Gustav Mahler and Stefan Zweig.
